For one who died too soon

Sharon Palmer Hamm
Our rosebud, plucked and discarded by a senseless act to prune.
A wasted entity of nature in the life taken too soon.
Severed from the foundation which gave her life and potential-revealed;
Now, never to uncover the beauty within petals left tightly sealed.
My heart goes out for those that had anticipated her bloom.
Only a hint of her sweet fragrance still circumvents this earthly tomb.
Our rosebud now joins a magnificent and everlasting bouquet
And her memory blossoms forever in our hearts to stay.
For Anastasia; never forgotten, forever missed
