Anastasia WitbolsFeugen was murdered nearly thirteen years ago on the night of October 22, 1997, victim of a
gunshot wound to the head. She was 18 years and 100 days old at the time of her death; she would now be 31 years old were
she alive. On May 2, 2002, a former highshcool classmate of Anastasia's was convicted of First Degree Murder, and is now
serving a sentence of Life in Prison without the possibility of parole.
Despite the passage of time since that terrible night when we lost Anastasia, the pain remains new. Her absence is still
felt keenly by all of those who knew and loved her. She is missed just as much today as when we lost her.
